Welcome (Ballroom)

Introduction from the NUS Full-time Officer team and Democratic Procedures Committee.

10:50-11:50

Plenary: How we're doing debate and Policy introductions (Ballroom)

12:00-12:45

Panel Discussion: Centring our humanity: fighting back against antisemitism and Islamophobia on our campuses (Ballroom)

12:45-13:45

Lunch

Submit questions for Officer Accountability and feedback on Board Reports by the end of lunch (1:45pm)

13:45-17:15

Policy Development Workshops

Please choose one workshop to participate in for the afternoon. There will be a scheduled 30-minute break in the session - the time for the break will be communicated in the workshop.

We ask Reps to arrive promptly for the workshop sessions as you will get much more out of it if you can take part in the full session.

Workshop 1: Funding, Food & Shelter: Defending Students' Right to Basic Human Rights (Circle 2)

Workshop 2: Campaign for International Student Equality (Foyer 2)

Workshop 3: For our Future: Reform to NUS democracy and organising (Circle 1 for 13:45-15:15; Circle 1 + Ballroom for 15:45-17:15)

Workshop 4: Increased FE representation in NUS so that challenges faced are better recognised and addressed (Foyer 1)

Workshop 5*: Solidarity with the people of Palestine and preserving the student movement (Circle 3 & 4)

*Participants in this policy workshop will begin with a conversation facilitated by Solutions Not Sides to establish the boundaries of a safe and brave discussion then the workshop will continue as normal.

Plenary: General Election actions and Officer accountability (Ballroom)
