NUS Liberation Conference 2024

NUS Liberation Conference brings together disabled, LGBT+, trans, Black* and women students together to build communities of activists and plan our campaigning work.

This year we are welcoming Reps from across the UK to Winter Gardens Blackpool on Monday 15th - Tuesday 16th April 2024.

Our conferences serve as a space to shape upcoming priorities for students, students' unions and NUS.

We’ll work together to learn, exchange ideas and take action to advance our fight for liberated society. We will also explore new ideas to be vocal and visible on.

As a conference Rep you can expect:

  1. Spaces where you can build your networks and connections,
  2. Meaningful involvement in shaping the Liberation Collective; a new direction for our work.
  3. Opportunities to take action and win, in the General Election and on your campuses. We are building communities of activists to continue to be actively involved in our campaigns.

Before, during and after conference we’ll also be working together to shape what NUS will be vocal and visible on. These sessions will be part of conversations to continue to shape, grow and develop the campaigning priorities for our movement in the future.

*NUS currently uses Black is an inclusive term to denote people of African, Arab, Asian and Caribbean heritage. A change to this term will be discussed at conference.
