Universities and Student Funding
- Stop charging interest on student loans
- Extend the amount of time graduates pay off student loans from 30 to 45 years
- Write off tuition fee debt for NHS staff over 10 years of service
Colleges, Apprenticeships and Skills
- Reform training to help people into work, with a focus on 16- to 34-year-olds
- Businesses that undertake apprenticeships will pay less tax
- Free education for military personnel during and after service
International Students and Migration
- Stop family members coming to the UK with international students
- Restrict which international students can stay in the UK after their studies
- Freeze all non-essential immigration
The Cost of Living, Pay and Benefits
- Lift the income threshold at which someone starts paying income tax to £20,000 (currently £12,570)
- Scrap VAT on energy bills and scrap taxes encouraging the use of renewable energy to cut energy costs
- Withdraw benefits if job seekers do not find work within four months or accept a job after two offers
The NHS, Health and Wellbeing
- Frontline NHS staff to pay zero basic rate of income tax for three years
- Use private healthcare capacity
- Give 20% tax relief to private healthcare providers
- Give NHS patients vouchers for private treatment if they do not receive NHS treatment in a certain time
Housing and Renting
- Cut stamp duty (tax you pay when you buy property or land) on all properties, and scrap it on all properties below £750,000
- Abandon plans to scrap ‘Section 21’ no-fault evictions
- Boost monitoring, appeals and enforcement processes for renters
- Prioritise local people ahead of foreign nationals for social housing places
Climate and Energy
- Scrap goals to reach net zero carbon emissions
- Stop giving money to companies that use and produce renewable energy
- Fast-track licences of North Sea oil and gas
- Fast-track clean nuclear energy
Rights, Equality and Liberation
- Leave the European Convention on Human Rights, reform the Human Rights Act
- Replace the Equalities Act and scrap ‘Diversity, Equality and Inclusion’ rules
- Change the definition of hate crime
- Ban ‘transgender ideology’ in schools
Society, Democracy and Young People
- Change how MPs are elected and replace the House of Lords
- Stop postal voting apart from for the elderly, disabled or those who cannot leave their homes
- Reopen ‘High Intensity Training Camps’ for young offenders
Workers' Rights and Employment
- Scrap employment laws that hold back businesses, including by making it easier to hire and fire workers.
