We have four board positions available for election. All positions serve on both NUS UK and NUS Charity boards. Their role is to:
- Support the student movement
- Bring member voice into decision making
- Help deliver our strategy
The four positions available are:
- NUS Member Director (Student or sabbatical officer). Two positions.
- NUS Member Director (Staff). Two positions.
3 year term of office: July 2026 - June 2029

Voting in the election
The election itself runs from 5 May 12 noon - 7 May 12 noon. There are two separate ballots - one for staff positions and one for student/sabbatical officer positions.
The election takes place under the Articles of Association of NUS UK. The voters in the election will be Students’ Unions affiliated to NUS UK on a one member one vote basis (i.e. each students’ union receives one vote). The voting link will be issued to NUS' primary contact in the Union (in most cases the President).
