How to Cast Your Vote

This page relates to casting your vote in NUS UK's next scheduled election - for member director positions.

The elections take place under the Articles of Association of NUS UK. The voters in the election will be Students’ Unions affiliated to NUS UK on a one member one vote basis (i.e. each students’ union receives one vote).

The voting link will be issued to NUS' primary contact in the Union (in most cases the President). Where there is no President the vote will be issued to another person identified as being the primary contact (i.e. a nominated officer or in some cases the lead staff member).

Casting your vote on behalf of your students' union.

Please be aware this is not a personal vote, the person holding the vote should cast their vote on behalf of the students' union. The vote holder should follow any internal processes required for decision making. We recommend that at the least your sabbatical officer team discuss the candidates before casting a vote.
