The candidates for the position of NUS-USI President are listed below.
Amy Smith
Queen's University Belfast Students' Union

Statement:
As Queen’s Students’ Union President, I’ve delivered real change at Queen’s University Belfast by strengthening academic representation, securing cost-of-living support, and improving safety and support for international students. I’ve represented students at the highest decision-making tables and ensured student voices directly shape university policy. But the challenges we face go beyond one campus. As NUS-USI President, I will fight for accessible education, cost-of-living essential needs, ending violence against women and girls, tackling racism and transphobia, and ensure further education colleges have the visibility and power they deserve. I bring invaluable experience delivering realistic change. Vote Amy Smith #1 NUS-USI President.

Statement:
Through my role as Student Governor, I have seen how meaningful representation can shape student life and strengthen our community. My studies have equipped me with practical skills in leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving. In Tandem, my national involvement with the #iwill movement has given me the platform to connect local experiences with wider campaigns, ensuring that the local voices of students contribute to representation across the UK. For me, the path forward is about bridging the local and the national gaps, ensuring every student feels part of something bigger, where diversity is celebrated, equality is championed and students feel supported.
