The new government welcomes a record number of MPs who were made in students' unions to Parliament, and analysis has shown the crucial role that the student vote played in key marginal seats - think 15 extra votes in Hendon, and thousands of students returning to vote in their home marginals, not their term time addresses.

Join us for a drink at The Long Shot on the Sunday of Labour Party Conference to celebrate the contribution of the student movement, past and present, to the new government. 

We'll hear from current students, MPs and have plenty of time for a drink & a dance before we get to work together for the year ahead to make students' lives better.
