At NUS we believe everyone has the right to safe, affordable and secure housing. But this isn't the reality for many students and apprentices.
Evidence shows that mouldy rooms, broken appliances and extortionate rents negatively affect students' grades, mental health and social life.
We also know estranged, international, racialised, disabled and queer students face even more barriers to access housing with dignity.
