Send your MP a Valentine's Day card and ask them to support Sex and Relationship Education!

Update: this campaign action has now ended. Following year's of campaigning on this issue by students, NUS and other partner organisations, sex and relationship education is set to be made compulary in schools. Read more here.

The NUS LGBT+ Campaign is working with Terrence Higgins Trust and Student Pride to call on the government for compulsory and inclusive Sex and Relationship Education in schools.

That’s why we’re asking you to send a Valentine’s Day Card to your local MP this February asking for their support.

Why now?

We need to do this now as the Children and Social Work Bill is passing through parliament and this is our best chance of securing sex and relationship education
for all young people.

Sounds good, how do I do it?

1. Find out who your MP is  - you can do this using parliaments’ address book.
2Download the Valentine’s card we've made and either print it out or attach it to an email.
3. Finally, send it off and share it on social media.

Once you're done, be sure tweet us @NUS_LGBT and tell us who you sent it to, using the #EndTheSilence hashtag!
