16 Days of Activism

The 16 Days of Activism is an important time of year from November 25 to 10 December. It marks the wealth, progress and future struggles to combating gender-based violence – the physical, sexual, psychological and emotional abuse predominantly experienced by women and girls.

We should not confine our activism to these 16 days, but we should use the opportunity to do whatever we can. We have called a Student Day of Activism against gender-based violence and encourage students’ association to join and share their best practice using the hashtag #FightingGBV.

Don’t forget to check out the toolkit we’ve created for students’ associations suggesting what they can do to mark the 16 Days of Activism on NUS Connect website here
