As one of Scotland’s largest Universities you would expect that Strathclyde would have one of THE best Student Unions – and you won’t be disappointed!

The University of Strathclyde Students’ Association (USSA) aims to empower students to shape, enhance and enjoy their Strathclyde experience through student participation, student-led representation and by offering welfare, advice and support.

We run an exhaustive list of clubs, societies and events that go on all year round plus a great range of bars, places to grab a bite to eat, study or just chill out...

We are home to the (in)famous TFI in the Barony bar; Gameszone, the largest pool hall in Glasgow and we have a great reputation for live bands and quirky celebrity guests - we are not exaggerating when we say the Union has something for everyone!
