The University of Bath Students' Union is at the heart of the student experience at Bath. The SU offers services, support, representation and opportunities for development allowing our students to get the most out of their time at university. We have 81 student led societies, numerous volunteering and development opportunities as well as a host of training courses running throughout the year.

We have 49 sports clubs and have access to some of the most impressive facilities of any UK institution. The SU also runs the bar and nightclub called the Plug & The Tub which is based on campus and hosts a variety of events.

We are proud of our varied events catering for students with a wide range of interests. Further to all this the SU has an advice centre and support network alongside a well established academic representation system involving elected student representatives working with the SU and University alike.

The University of Bath Students' Union is an award winning Students' Union having won the Equality & Diversity NUS Award 2014, being runners up for HE SU of the year NUS 2014, as well as being ranked as a Top Ten Students' Union for student satisfaction in the NSS 2014. The Students' Union also holds the SUEI Gold Award, Gold Green Impact Award, as well as IIP and IIV and Gold Best Bar None.
