The Manchester College Students’ Union (SU) supports students in getting their voices heard. It is a community of students, for students and led by students - hosting activities, societies and campaigns. The SU works in partnership with the National Union of Students (NUS), voting for and against change which affects students internally and nationwide and represents student’s views and ideas.

They host drop-in sessions with SU Officers in the dedicated SU spaces on each campus. Students can join or create their own society and lead or join a campaign, such as the Single Use Plastics Campaign. We have worked in partnership with Greater Manchester Combined Authority and Andy Burnham (picture above), Mayor of Greater Manchester, on this campaign.

The College’s SU is still developing in its infancy and is making great progress.
