Working on a holiday

It's the festive season and most students would like to take some time off from work and studies to spend holidays with their families. Being a student and struggling to balance studies, free time and money, the festive season may be the best time in a year to get a temporary holiday job, Rafaela Kuznec reports.

Journalist Rafaela

My name is Rafaela and I’m a freelance journalist and multimedia producer based in London. I have an interest in social affairs and work on independent documentary projects. I began my journalistic career at the leading Lithuanian monthly magazine and portal in the UK. I am currently studying a multimedia journalism degree at London South Bank University. My course involves a great deal of independent research which requires initiative, self-motivation and a wide range of skills. I enjoy producing video and audio, therefore I’m taking on the multimedia journalist role at NUS. I am keen to work for NUS because of its reputation of supporting and working on behalf of students and it’s a great opportunity for career development.
