Zamzam Ibrahim, NUS President responds to Pearson’s Global Learner Survey
“Exploring the views over 11,000 learners of all ages and backgrounds, Pearson’s Global Learner Survey endorses NUS’ argument for an accessible, funded, and lifelong education system – a National Education Service (NES).
This survey shows that learners do not feel the education system is working for them and lifelong learning is the future of education. This is why NUS has launched a decade long campaign for a NES, to re-frame education as a service; a service that enables people to participate fully in a prosperous society. We need a varied, comprehensive education provision that all of us can access throughout our lives.”
