#GenerationVote Twitter Hustings: Lincoln

Monday 5 June 2017 NUS News

Our penultimate online hustings took place on Friday, with candidates standing in Lincoln answering questions via Twitter. We asked Karen Lee (Labour), Caroline Kenyon (Liberal Democrat), Ben Lryman (Green Party) about their plans for education and why local students should vote for them.

How will you make sure our colleges have the funding they need?

What can you do to ensure that our universities are open & accessible to European students, post-Brexit?

How can we safeguard and encourage international students to pursue their studies in the UK?

What measures can be put in place to ensure that students are not left to bear the brunt of increased debt?

How do you plan on making further, higher and post-grad education accessible to everyone?

You can recap on all our Twitter hustings here or over at @nusuk!
