Hundreds of students lobby against proposed cuts to Disabled Students Allowance

Friday 6 June 2014 Disabled Students

All around the country students and students’ unions have been mobilising, organising all key stakeholders in sending the message - don't cut us out!

For many disabled students, DSA is vital to levelling the playing field by supporting them to complete their university courses.

Hundreds of students all over the country, from Edinburgh to Canterbury, have been lobbying their local MPs and having open discussions about the real impact DSA has on disabled students.

Local MPs showed their support to stop the cuts alongside the students on Twitter using the hashtags #DegreesOfDiscrimination and #DontCutMeOut

Today we saw hundreds of students backing the lobby to stop the cuts to DSA.

Keep saying no to the DSA cuts - get in touch with your MP and encourage them to oppose the cuts in Parliament.
