Celebs urge students to vote as General Election nears

Wednesday 7 June 2017 NUS News

Celebrities and young leaders are urging students and young people to go out and vote in tomorrow's General Election. With two million more 18-34-year-olds registered to vote in this election, young people have the ability to make all the difference.

The #GenerationVote campaign has gained real momentum over the last few weeks, as we've seen an enormous effort to get young people registered and to get the vote out in major student seats.

Students are set to engage in democracy in record numbers and have a real say in deciding their future.

And now a range of celebrities and young leaders are endorsing the campaign and telling young people why they should get out and vote.

With polling day nearly upon us, share your stories via #GenerationVote and make sure students' voices are heard!
