Erica Ramos, NUS Vice President (Union Development) commented:
"We're delighted that the Union of Brunel Students is to remain a member of NUS. We appreciate the support of every single student who voted for ‘Yes to NUS’, and the hard work of the Yes campaign team to showcase why being a member of NUS is so crucial to keeping the national student collective voice more powerful than ever. Due to the recent climate, UCU strikes, Brexit and a now a global pandemic, it is clear that we need to unite and we are only stronger together. We will continue to work hard to win the support of those who need more reassurance about NUS.
"We're looking forward to continuing to work with Brunel's students, officers and staff to reshape and reform our democracy and NUS, making it more modern and adapted to the digital world, and to make it inclusive, effective and relevant to students.’’
