In case you haven't heard, there's a general election going on. We think it's essential that young people get out there and vote. Here's why...

1. If you don’t, you make it easy for politicians to ignore you

5. Voting gives you the right to moan (which might sound odd, but if you don’t vote and someone you don’t like gets into power… well….)

6. You can bust the stereotypes - if you’re between the ages of 18 and 25 then pundits will say you don’t care about the elections. They think it’s all about the grey vote.
