Student Art Fund #WeAreArtful

By NUS

Thursday 7 March 2019 Student Mental Health

In line with University Mental Health day, and with ongoing campaigns into improving support and awareness for student mental health, the national charity Art Fund is reaching out to universities to increase involvement in the arts during stressful times on campus.

Art Fund wants to get students involved in the museum or gallery tours taking place this month and to help promote more Student Art Pass members to join the Facebook community where you can communicate and collaborate. This is intended to support mindfulness practices amongst students - especially as exam season is a stressful season for many students. A recent Art Fund study report highlighted that galleries and artwork displays are an untapped wellbeing resource for improving mental health.

To find out more about how you can get involved, visit the WeAreArtful website or follow #WeAreArtful on Instagram and Twitter this week!
