Electing officers to run the union
Once a constitution has been agreed, you will need to hold elections for the posts it has been decided to have. It is advisable to have a member of staff to act as Returning Officer - the person who co-ordinates the election.
The way the elections will run will have been outlined in the ‘election regulations’ that are part of the constitution.
