The University of Exeter Students’ Guild is based within one of the most beautiful out of town campuses in the country, yet only a short distance by foot from the city centre. The Students’ Guild has an array of great volunteering opportunities (Community Action, Rag, 4 Student Media and over 100 active societies), an excellent Advice Unit, a busy part-time job shop, a well established academic representation system and have achieved national record breaking levels of participation in their most recent sabbatical elections. In order to help fund these activities and services, the Students’ Guild operates two café’s, two bars, a nightclub, a print-unit and a student shop. In addition they have one of the busiest live music schedules within the SU sector, with high profile names such as the Arctic Monkeys, James Blunt, The Hoosiers, Pendulum, Editors, Bloc Party and The Kooks all having played recently.
