As well as representing you and supporting your study needs, the Students’ Union also gives you the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of exciting societies and sports clubs, with almost every interest catered for. The Students’ Union also runs a wide range of award-winning facilities across two campuses, including a dedicated Advice Centre, the £1.25 million Sub Zero night-club (awarded the honour of “best student venue in the UK” at the national Smirnoff BEDA awards), four excellent bars, a full service pizza restaurant, three convenience stores, a post office and ‘The Union’, a brand new social space for students at the Southend campus.
