UCLan Students' Union is one of the largest in the country with approximately 35,000 members. It's home to the award-winning 53 Degrees a 1,200 and 400 capacity venue, which has seen the likes of Scouting For Girls, Dizzee Rascal, Ian Brown and The Hoosiers headline. It also hosts Preston's biggest student club night, Promo and the North-West’s premier comedy night, Stand and Deliver. The Union building is in the heart of the campus and features Essentials, a convenience store and Source, the student-only bar. With tens of clubs and societies to join you'll never be bored and there's now also a host of new opportunities with our Give It A Go programme. The Union achieved a silver standard in the NUS Sound Impact Awards in 2007 and 2008.
