Starting September the Students’ Union will have a permanent place on the Street, the main congregation place for students, called I-Zone. This will give a presence of the Students’ Union and allow students to get involved. The Students’ Union are planning events in the future so will have fortnightly meetings to keep on top of events being planned. The Students’ Union are planning the Freshers Fair and Freshers Party for September. They will also be holding charitable events which the Student Union will take an active role in organizing and taking part. There is a good circle of Course Representatives with a good line of communication to sort things. We have a magazine, Student Voice Magazine, which is made for students by the students. The magazine will gain input from students. It will keep students up to date with the Students’ Union, upcoming events and how they can get involved.
