Hallam Union may appear to be a place to socialise but it has a lot more to offer than just being a place to hang out. Hallam Union exists to represent the interests of it's students as well as providing volunteering opportunities, and advice centre, societies, the chance to join a sports team and of course entertainments and events. The Union is based in the landmark building, the HUBS at City Campus. Although an integral part of Sheffield Hallam University, the Union is actually independant which means it can speak on behalf of Sheffield Hallam students and represent their views.
