During the summer 2008 the Students' Union is undergoing a major refurbishment.  This will involve a transformation of the whole ground floor of the Students' Union into an open and welcoming venue which will house a new improved shop, a deli counter, a bar area, chill out areas, and the Student Information and Representation Centre.
