The Committee is elected by students for students to; Represent student interests, day to day as well as attending meetings, corporation, and liasing with staff and management to ensure that the student voice is listened and responded to. Listen to and act upon student ideas and opinions through constant student connection and the termly student senate. Encourage student enrichment through the promotion and support of clubs, societies and groups. Work closely with the welfare officer to help ensure that student well-being needs are met. Raise money for and awareness of local and national charities and help individual and groups of students to get involved in what they are interested in. Organise social and charity events throughout the year that appeal to all students.
