The Students’ Union is an independent body that represents the interests of students at college, Welsh and national levels. The Students’ Union appoints two students to sit on the Board of Governors and two to sit on the Academic Board. In addition, it is represented on various other college committees and groups including all student disciplinary hearings. Membership is open to all full and part-time students aged 16 and over.
