NUS extra card holders and auto-renewal
We have now introduced the 12 month NUS extra card, which is valid for a full 12 months from the date of purchase. This means that from now on, NUS extra cards will not expire on August 31st, 2013, as in previous years, but will expire after a full year’s use. This has an impact on your renewal date and the process.
Due to these changes, we shall send you a notification by email, just before your card is due to expire, inviting you to renew your card for another year. This renewal method will replace the auto renewal method through Worldpay, our merchant, which some students have used before. Don’t worry - if you set up auto renewal for your NUS extra card in the past, NUS extra will be officially closing down any remaining NUS extra Futurepay agreements with Worldpay by the end of February 2013, on your behalf, so that no further money will be debited from your account after this time. If you are one of those students, you do not need to take any further action, as this will be done automatically. Only your Futurepay agreements for NUS extra will be closed down. You will not receive email notification from Worldpay or NUS extra but you can still access your account directly with Futurepay for reference.
