Professor Rick Trainor, President of Universities UK, commented: “Diana Warwick has been an outstanding Chief Executive, leading Universities UK through some turbulent times in higher education.

Respect

"Her extensive experience in the sector has meant that she has been a fountain of knowledge and wisdom both for the organisation and for successive Presidents, including myself.

"She commands wide respect in higher education and beyond, not least among those who have observed her contributions to innumerable meetings with ministers, civil servants and policy advisers. I have no doubt that she will be much missed, and we all wish her well for the future.”
