The Innovation, Universities and Skills Committee met on Tuesday 17 March as part of its inquiry into Students and Universities to take evidence from Professor Paul Ramsden, Higher Education Authority; Peter Williams, Quality Assurance Agency; and Anthony McClaran, UCAS.
Committee Chair and Liberal Democrat MP Phil Willis asked if the Quality Assurance Agency should be completely revamped. Mr Williams refuted this suggestion, and said that his organisation focused on the important relationship between processes and outcomes.
