Mental health campaigning isn't about giving out leaflets to students or educating them on signs and symptoms of mental illness. It can be as creative and engaging as any other campaign you see at your students' association.
The point is to make students care about their mental health and the mental health of those around them, and to create a change on your campus
Whether you want to tackle mental health stigma, improve the counseling services at your university/college or want to help students feel more confident about asking for support, Think Positive can help you make that change.
Many students' associations across Scotland are already taking part and organising events such as:
- Wellbeing fairs
- Stress workshops
- Flashmobs
- Film screenings
... and more!
We want to hear from you whether you have ideas about what Think Positive could be doing across Scotland, or have ideas about what you would like to do on your campus - get in touch with Katie Rafferty, NUS Scotland's Student Mental Health Campaigns Officer and we can help you create a successful mental health campaign.
