We have a huge opportunity to stand united and prove to the Government that scrapping EMA will have a detrimental effect on thousands of people.

NUS, alongside our partners in the Save EMA campaign, believe that in order to win the vote in parliament every MP needs to be convinced that EMA is something to support. We are asking for your help in saving EMA. Help us by:

  1. Email your MP: It is important to let your local MP know about how EMA has made a difference to your education and why it should not be scrapped. You can find template letters and contact details here.
  2. Join us at our lobby: We want you to come and join us in London on Wednesday 19 January, the day of the vote, and lobby your MP. To register fill in this form  to let NUS know which MPs are being lobbied. Their will be a chance for you to register with NUS and receive information about winning the arguments before you meet your MP.
