The Campaign launch, held in Derby, introduced NUS’ campaign areas for the year ahead.
NUS' Further Education Campaign focuses on three areas:
The launch offered students practical and interesting advice on how to further education and how they can campaign for change.
Students also had the chance to meet with speakers from organisations like Show Racism the Red Card and Votes and 16 Coalition.
Training was offered too, alongside information, on everything from funding and childcare to how to make your college Fairtrade.
NUS represents more that 4.5 million learners through their students’ union in further education (FE) colleges across the UK. Find out how you can get involved and make a difference in further education.
