Vice Presidents for Higher Education, Further Education, Welfare, Union Development, and Society and Citizenship have now been elected.
The results
• Aaron Porter was re-elected NUS Vice President (Higher Education)
• Shane Chowen was elected NUS Vice President (Further Education)
• Ben Whittaker was elected NUS Vice President (Welfare)
• Richard Budden was elected NUS Vice President (Union Development)
• Susan Nash was elected NUS Vice President (Society and Citizenship)
The positions of Vice President (Society and Citizenship) and Vice President (Union Development) are newly created as a result of significant reform of NUS governance ratified at an extraordinary conference in January 2009.
The elected candidates begin their new terms of office on 1 July 2009.
