This year there are 13 prize categories highlighting a range of achievements such as Campaign of the Year, Best Student Media, Students’ Union Staff Member of the Year, and Students’ Union Club or Society of the Year.
Nominations for the fifth annual NUS awards are now open and it’s time to recognise this year’s students and students’ unions that have made great achievements.
Nominations close at 5.00pm on Friday 4 May 2012 so don’t hesitate to visit the nominations page and put forward someone who has made a real difference. If you have already started filling out your nomination form please remember that the closing date for entries is Friday 4 May.
Judging panels will be taking place between Monday 7 May and Friday 18 May, with shortlists due to be announced during the week commencing Monday 21 May.
The NUS 2012 Awards ceremony will be held in Exeter on the evening of Wednesday 4 July at the Students’ Union 2012 conference, an event focusing on strategy, best practice and excellence within the student movement, higher education and voluntary sectors.
