Student Human Rights Reporter of the Year

NUS and Amnesty International have joined together to bring you the award for Student Human Rights Reporter of the Year 2012, and the competition is now open for entries.

The competition is open to all students in the UK whose story covering issues relating to human rights has been published or broadcast in a recognised student publication or outlet between September 2011 and February 2012.

Now in its second year, the award will be presented at the Amnesty International Media Awards in June 2012, with the main prize including two weeks work experience with the Mirror Group. Winning articles and runners up will additionally be published in The Mirror, as well as on the NUS and Amnesty International websites, together with further prizes set out below.
