More than 300 adult learners and teachers are to hold a lobby of Parliament following cuts to lifelong learning provision.

1,400,000 places lost

The net effect of major shifts in the balance of public investment has been the loss of 1,400,000 adult learners from publicly funded provision.

CALL was founded by NUS along with NIACE, UCU, UNISON and WEA. The alliance has now gained the support over 200 organisations, including every major trade union, the Church of England, the Muslim Council of Britain and the National Federation of Women’s Institutes.
