On this day, Sudanese communities from all over the UK are joining together in London to call on the British government and international community to take urgent action to protect the peace in Sudan.
We'll be drumming along to a global drumbeat for peace (so bring a drum, real or home-made). Bring djembes, pots and pans, tambourines, biscuit tins, bongos or dustbin lids - it doesn't matter what it is, as long you're prepared to make some noise!
The beat will start in Sudan and be joined by people all over the world: from Nairobi to New York, Cairo to London. World famous drummers from Ghana to Guinea, Pink Floyd to the Police, will be picking up the beat - sending a clear message to the international community to get coordinated and work together to protect the peace in Sudan.
Following the drumming, there will be speeches from Sudanese Archbishop Daniel Deng and other high-profile figures.
Join us and meet outside 10 Downing Street at 11am on Saturday 9 January. Come prepared to make some noise for Sudan!
