The Government is recommending a series of changes that would revise GCSEs and A Levels with new content and structure.
This could include:
An end to assessment by coursework
An end to modules, and a move to linear assessment
A move to all exams being sat in the summer term
A limit on re-sitting exams
A new grading structure, with numbers instead of letters
Longer essay style questions in exams
An end to paper tiering, with all students sitting the same papers regardless of ability
