Article 1 invites you to an exclusive drinks reception on Wednesday, 25th November. This event marks the opening of a unique exhibition of children’s drawings depicting their experiences during the six year conflict in Darfur, western Sudan.
These graphic yet innocent pictures were collected from Darfuri children living
in refugee camps in Chad by an Article 1 researcher in July 2007. They were
subsequently accepted by the International Criminal Court as contextual evidence of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
These important historic documents have been exhibited worldwide to draw
attention to the horrifying situation in Darfur and Chad. Now, they have come to London for a limited period.
Please join us as we pull back the curtain on the stories behind the war in Darfur, as told by its child witnesses.
