On Thursday 9 December MPs from across the UK will decide the future of higher education and the future of thousands of people in our country. The coalition Government will next thursday propose that the cap on tuition fees for Universities is raised to £6,000 and that some Universities will be allowed to charge up to £9,000. We must do all that we can to stop this from happening. Ahead of the vote we are asking people to contact their MP to let them know that a double or a trippling of fees is not acceptable and urging all MPs to vote against these damaging proposals.
