We are dedicated to safeguarding biodiversity and ecosystem integrity and building sustainable livelihoods for marginalised communities in the world’s poorest countries. Originally focused largely on scientific and conservation research, Frontier’s mandate soon evolved into one that combined community development, capacity building, ecosystem protection, sanctuary work, economic growth, wildlife conservation and the development of civil society. This reflected our fundamental belief that the only way to create a mutually-beneficial relationship between man and the environment is to address both human and environmental needs.
With 250 projects across 50 countries in Africa, Asia-Pacific, South and Central America, Frontier offers volunteers the chance to get involved in an array of activities from wildlife and marine conservation to trekking and biodiversity research, teaching and community development
Volunteers have the opportunity to:
· Gain BTEC, TEFL Certificate, PADI, FGASA Level 1 and CoPE Level 3 qualifications
· Save endangered wildlife
· Learn a new language
· Teach impoverished children
· Explore the world on an adventure trail
