Recognises the outstanding achievement of a student unionist from either a higher of further education union who has excelled in their office, going above and beyond normal expectations for the benefit of the union, its members and the academic and wider community.
£250 individual award
Criteria
- Student member of NUS affiliated students' union.
- An individual who has served as a volunteer, activist or officer within their union at some point after January 1 2009
- Evidence of how students, officers and staff have benefited from the contribution of the individual
- Evidence of how the individual has displayed a commitment to the students’ union and fellow students
- Evidence of the outstanding contribution to the students’ union, fellow students and/or the institution
