Criteria

• Pieces must be dated after 1 January 2009. 
• Nominations must be from an institution that has an NUS-affiliated students’ union and may include independent student publications. 
• Evidence of ability to take information and with style and verve, turn it into compelling news copy 
• Evidence of creativity, innovation and integrity in getting to the bottom of a story that will make a difference to the lives of students.
