FE Students' Union of the Year

Recognises the outstanding achievements and demonstration of best practice in a further education students’ union.

Criteria

• Activities must date back no earlier than 1 January 2009. 
• Must be the work of an NUS affiliated union 
• Evidence of positive impact on college’s learner involvement strategy. 
• Evidence of the depth of influence of the students’ union as indicated by numbers of course representatives and involvement in institutional affairs. 
• Evidence of the growing levels of student participation in elections, standing for office and impact on decision-making. 
• Evidence of the students’ union action and quantifiable impact on students.
