Community relations award

Recognising the achievement of a students’ union project that has made a significant contribution to the local community and its relationship to the union

Criteria

• Activities must date back no earlier than 1 January 2009. 
• Must be the work of an NUS affiliated union 
• Evidence of a students’ union activity that has had a significant impact on the local community 
• Evidence of best practice in planning, communication, team working and evaluation. 
• Evidence of creativity in the delivery of work objectives through events, activities and communication channels. 
• Evidence of the ability to effectively utilise resources within the student body, local stakeholders and/or the media. 
• Quantifiable impact or change to the target community or beneficiaries.
