I panicked into getting my accomodation, being made to feel there were not many options left, I naively signed up without looking at the accomodation, I am now staying in a 13 story block on the tenth floor with no lift, a filthy flat that they have said has been cleaned, yet there is still grease in the kitchen, mould in the fridge stains on the carpet and sofas, grime in my bedroom, scum in the bathroom, plus my shower has leaked all over mine and my flatmates bedroom, the mould under the bed proves this is not a new problem, I'm still waiting for the plumber and I don't know what will happen to the carpet. I feel ill and depressed just staying here, I was full of such high expectations, this has put a real downer on it. I'm not sure where to complain to as unite don't care, At over £500 a month its not cheap, I could have rented privately for about £350.Has anyone got any advice, or is there a forum to help with complaints against unite.
